The ETC project “memory without borders“ present its online-platform! Written historical documents from the border region Austria-Slovak Republic are now available free and any time in our online-database.

Until June 2014 following written historical documents were digitized or edited:

Austria

• Military church registers referring to the border region SK-AT
• Register books of catholic parishes referring to the border region SK-AT
• “Franziszaeen land registers”, the first complete land registers of Lower Austria

• Documents of the city administration in Bratislava
• Written sources of the historical counties in the border region SK-AT

Even after the official project end in June 2014 new documents of the border region Slovakia-Austria will be placed on the platform crossborderarchives constantly.
